The seasonal Graffiti Removal program is a summer employment program run by Take Pride Winnipeg! , with financial assistance from the Urban Green Team program and the City of Winnipeg, as well as Canada Summer Jobs. The goal of this program is to assist with and augment graffiti removal efforts undertaken by the City of Winnipeg, as well as to provide meaningful employment to Winnipeg youth, teaching them essential job skills such as teamwork, organizations and time management, while making Winnipeg a more beautiful city.
The Graffiti Removers will tend to graffiti removal jobs throughout the entire city of Winnipeg. Graffiti will be removed from private and public buildings, as well as park benches, bridges, and various other structures. Detailed training will be provided in all graffiti removal techniques employed. The seasonal Graffiti Removers will also assist Take Pride Winnipeg! staff in various duties with the other programs, such as Brush Up Winnipeg, Green Wave and Team Up to Clean Up.
The program will run from May through August each year. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. or assigned by the supervisor. Take Pride Winnipeg covers the cost of steel-toed boots, and offers a competitive hourly wage.

Requirements
- 17-29 years old
- Winnipeg resident
- Valid, permanent Manitoba driver's license
- Returning to school in the fall
- A team player
- A positive and mature attitude
- Manual labour experience an asset but not required
- Proof of vaccination per MB Health guidelines
