Green Wave
We are now accepting applications for summer 2024
Green Wave staff are divided into teams of two to four and have assignments for duties assisting various business improvement zones each day. The goal is to assist with and augment any seasonal beautification efforts undertaken by the business improvement zones. The coordinator will meet with all teams daily, checking in on progress and maintaining communications with the business improvement zone contacts. All Green Wave employees will come together periodically to work on a large-scale project, such as park enhancement. Work hours are Monday to Friday 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. or as assigned by the supervisor. Uniforms, training and any special equipment will be provided by Take Pride Winnipeg!

General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Litter clean-up
- Graffiti removal
- Weeding
- Painting
- Watering flowers
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 16 to 19 years old
- Returning to school in the fall
- A team player
- A person with a positive attitude
- Proof of vaccination per MB Health guidelines
