Sustainability Day at Assiniboine Park Zoo
Join us Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm!
Visit and learn more about the animals at the Zoo, while learning more about how you can care for our environment! Take sustainability beyond the 4Rs!
As part of Sustainability Month, exhibitors will be sharing their ideas on sustainability throughout the Journey to Churchill. Teachers and students can learn how to integrate these ideas into their classrooms, their homes and their neighbourhoods. It is also a great launching point for discussions and class project ideas for the entire school year!
Parents and members of the general public are also welcome to attend and join in the discussion. The exhibits are free with zoo admission. Call 204-927-6001 to order your tickets. Group rates are available!
We will have a chance to win prizes with our special passport for the day as well!
